If your device is running Android 4.4, Rec. needs root access to function properly. However, it seamlessly works without root on Android 5.0+.

1. Why am I unable to install Rec. on my device?
   Your phone/tablet must be running Android 4.4 or above to install Rec.
2. Why do I need root access?
   Users on Android 5.0 and above do not require root access. On Android 4.4, however, Rec. needs root access for correct functioning.
3. How can I root my device?
   Unfortunately, there is no universal rooting solution as the process varies for each Android device. You can start by using CF-Auto-Root or search for a root guide specific to your device on Google.
4. Can Rec. record audio?
   Yes! Rec. can record audio using the device's microphone.
5. Why is the recording laggy and slow on Samsung Galaxy S2/S3/Note/...?
   This seems to be an issue with Exynos-based devices not working well with the native screenrecord function. I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
6. Does Rec. work with Intel x86 based devices?
   Rec. should work fine on devices running Android 5.0+, but it may not be compatible with devices running Android 4.4. If you try it on an x86 device, please share your experience.
7. Are there any other known issues?
   Enabling the Audio option may cause recording failure on the LG G2 (Android 4.4 only). I will work on resolving this once I have access to an LG G2 device.
8. Can you add translations for my language?

Top Tips:

1. Disable notifications in your Superuser app to prevent them from appearing at the start of your recordings.
2. Switch the Size width/height values to change the recording orientation.
3. Tap the Size label to obtain your device's native resolution.
